These playful earrings are reminiscent of the fish ladders found all over the Pacific Northwest, even in my own neighborhood of Ballard in Seattle. The fish ladder is a lovely example of humans responding to the needs of nature, protecting waterways and its creatures while humanity lives alongside.
The fish ladder earring is cast from my original in bronze with 14kt gold filled hooks and wire. They feature rotating turquoise beads like water flowing.
Each pair is slightly different with natural variations in the stones.
