This is a wonderfully deep blue Apatite set in a sterling prong setting upon a sterling band. 

Note: Gemstones do not all have the same hardness which means some are more susceptible to scratches or dings than others. If struck with force, some stones may break more easily than others. I always advise treating stones with care and recognizing that most stones do not have the same hardness as your run of the mill diamond.
